As fans have been eagerly waiting for the Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Lion’ to hit the screens this week, here we have disappointing news. The latest reports state that the film’s release has been postponed to May 14th due to some unknown problems for the producers. Morning 9.46 am is fixed as the muhurat for first ever show the world sees on 14th.
Trisha and Radhika Apte are the female leads in the movie which is been directed by debutant Satya Deva. Rudrapati Ramana Rao produced the flick under SLV Cinema banner while Manisharma has given the tunes for the film. Touted to be an out-and-out action entertainer the film is certified with a ‘U/A’ certificate.
On the other hand Lakshmi Manchu’s ‘Dongaata’ is also set for a huge release along with ‘Lion’ this Friday. Now it looks like a clear advantage for ‘Dongaata’ as the film can now have a smooth ride at the ticket window as ‘Lion’ is postponed and there are no big releases this week. This is the first time, Lakshmi is getting such massive holiday season solely.
This crime comedy has Adivi Sesh, Brahmanandam and Madhu Nandan in other major roles which is being directed by newcomer Vamsi Krishna. The film has music by Raghu Kunche which is already getting a good response from the audience. Hope Machu Lakshmi scores a huge hit with this flick and makes some decent money in this holiday time!!
