Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who sang the National Anthem at Eden Gardens, Kolkatta, during India Pakistan match at T20 World Cup is in trouble. On this a complaint was filed with Ashoknagar Police Station, Delhi on Amitabh Bachchan for not properly rendering the National Anthem.
The complaint states that the anthem was sung incorrectly and was of 1 minute and 22 seconds (as against the 52 seconds approximately according to the guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs). Previously it was alleged that Amitabh Bachchan had demanded a whopping Rs.4 Crore remuneration for rendering the National anthem.
After a huge uproar over this, Bengal Cricket Association President, Sourav Ganguly confirmed that there is no truth in such rumours and the Big B did not charge a single penny for the song. He even revealed that how Amitabh Bachchan paid for his own flight tickets, hotel accommodation, stadium entry tickets etc
