It is good to see renowned Telugu film production house “Geetha Arts” is now again getting into Tamil film industry after a long 25 years. Way back in 1989, Geetha Arts has produced a film named “Maappillai” (remake of Telugu block buster Atthaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu0 with Rajani Kanth. And after 25 years, Geetha Arts again producing a film in Tamil named ” Darling” (Remake of Prema Katha Chitram) launching young music composer GV Prakash Kumar as the main lead.
Geetha Arts teamed up with Studio Green’s KE Gnanavel Raja to produce “Darilng”. The film’s trailer was launched yesterday and was appreciated by several prominent film personalities like GV Prakash’s uncle and musical genius AR Rahman, Hindi film-maker Anurag Kashyap, AR Murugadoss etc. Nikki Galrani plays Nanditha’s role in the Tamil Version and Sam Anton directs the flick. The film is all set for a grand release on 15th January.
Let us see if “Darling” repeats the same magic that “PKC” has created a couple of years back.
