Director Harish Shankar who tasted hits and flops had created sensation with Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh. Afetr a block buster hit he gave an utter lop with NTR’s Ramayya Vastavayya. Now he directing Sai Dharam Tej’s Subrahmanyam for Sale. He said he prepared this story even before Mirapakaya.
He added he is responsible for the flop of Ramayya Vastavayya and added he couldn’t utilise the opportunity given by NTR. He said he didnot make any challenge with Dil Raju saying he will make amends scoring a hit after a flop. He said Dil Raju believes in story and industry goes after hit and avoids flop directors.
He said Pawan Kalyan shocked him when he went to him to inform him of Gabbar Singh collections. He said Pawan questioned whether he read books. He said he was shocked at Pawan’s cool attitude. He said people will not avoid Subrahmanyam for Sale just because Ramayya vastavayya bombed and the same thing earlier happened vis a vis Shock and Gabbar Singh.
