Software Engnieer turned director turned producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy has been trying to make films that attracts youth right from his very first movie. And he has been impressing the audience with his production and also his directional flicks. And his latest outing as producer is “Ladies and Gentlemen”.
On the screen performances:
Main leads of the film, Chaitanya Krishna, Kamal Kamaraju, Adavi Sesh, Mahat Raghavendra, Nikitha Narayan have done their jobs very well.
Adavi Sesh is simply superb and carries of his character quite cleverly till the end. With his versatile dialogue delivery and unique style of acting, Adavi Sesh has grabbed the attention of the audience..
Another handsome hero Chaitanya Krishna has also done an excellent job as an innocent college going youth. Nikita Narayan and Kamal Kamaraju have shown a lot of maturity in their respective characters.
And Mahat Raghavendra of Back Bench Student fame has played his role well, but not so convincingly though. Being a cunning youth, Mahath’s expressions and body language could have been much better.
Everybody is talking about the climax of the movie. Well, it really deserves appreciation in fact. Drawing to a conclusion for all the three stories in a most convincing manner is not a joke. But the director PB Manjunath has pulled it off so easily.
Madhura Sreedhar has shown his class in terms of production values for “Ladies & Gentlemen”.
One would think the songs that come all of a sudden in between to be little odd ., as they had slowed down the pace in the movie. Actually, no songs are to be entertained in such concept driven subjects to keep the tempo of the movie in tact.
Off the screen performances:
Music composer Raghu Kunche managed to make the audience shake their legs for a couple of songs. Back ground score of Raghu Kunche could have been much better.
Dialogues of the movie are impressive through out the film.
Manjunath ,the director of the film has done reasonably a good job. The way he handled the three stories without any confusion is absolutely spot on. Manjunath has shown his maturity in discussing the problems that youth are facing due to internet and social networking sites these days.
Editing is fine .
Final word:
To conclude it in one word, “Ladies and Gentlemen” is a worth watch anthology ,that won’t disappoint you for sure.
