Most of them had huge expectations on Rajanikanth’s latest flick “Lingaa” hoping that it would change their fate to good effect. But to the shock of every distributor, who got the distribution rights of the film , “Lingaa” miserably failed to get the expected grosses. Hence, all the distributors who were seriously effected the loss decided to meet Super Star Rajinikanth to help them come out of those losses. They met Police Commissioner at Chennai in his office and submitted a letter informing him that they are meeting Super Star Rajinikanth to request him to help him bail them out of Lingaa losses. They even requested protection from police.
Distributors have clearly mentioned in the letter that Lingaa didn’t do well at the box office.
