Mass Maharaja, Ravi Teja is back with yet another mass masala movie titled Nela Ticket. Kalyan Krishna helmed this project, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s check how the film ends up being.
Nela Ticket (Ravi Teja) is an orphan who helps the poor with their issues. One fine day, he beats the goons of home minister Aditya Bhupati(Jagapathi Babu). This leads to more worse and disclosure of a flashback scene between both Jagapathi Babu and Ravi Teja. All things considered, what is that flashback and how does Ravi Teja oust Jagapathi Babu is rest of the story.
Ravi Teja did mass role once again and he is usually in performance. Jagapathi Babu’s performance as a corrupt minister is outstanding. Malvika Sharma is not so impressive. Prithvi’s comedy is mediocre and outdated. Other comedians also failed to offer a few laughs.
Kalyan Krishna used Ravi Teja’s aggressiveness and comedy timing in a right way but best of the part in this movie is Jagapathi Babu who mesmerizes audiences. Kaumudi did a fabulous job in this movie. The script of Nela Ticket has nothing to offer new. It lacks substance to hold the attention of film buffs. There are so many loopholes in the first and second half. Moreover, it is too lengthy to watch. Sadly, chemistry between the lead pair is boring and it could not work out on the screen.
Director Kalyan Krishna’s could not utilize production values and music director Shakti Kanth. Action sequences in this movie are superb. The camerawork is awesome and decent. Dialogues are tedious and narration is absolutely outdated. Editing should have been sharp.
Watch Nela Ticket, if you are a fan of Ravi Teja. If not, just ignore.
