Introduction:
Premam was originally made in Malayalam and it has turned to be a blockbuster hit and now, it was remade in Telugu. Chandoo Mondeti has directed this film by making a few changes to the original version. Let’s go through the content and performance of the star cast.
Story:
Vicky is the simple and happy-go-lucky guy who has three love stories in his life. Love happens in his life in three phases with Suma (Anupama Parameswaran), Sithara teacher (Shruti Haasan) & Sindhu (Madonna Sebastian). He falls in love with three girls which are interesting to see his three stages in his life. Do you want to know the twists that he has in his love stories, then, must watch the film.
Performances:
Naga Chaitanya is convincing in his character and performance with three girls in really lovable to watch on big screen. Anupama Parameshwaran is cute and touches your heart with her sensible expressions and countenance. Her own dubbing in Telugu is dearer to audiences for sure. Madonna Sebastian is originally beautiful girl why did makers think that she does need more unnatural make-up? However, she is impressive in her character. When it comes to Shruthi Haasan role, it is very challenging. Probably, it is a maker’s wrong choice to pick up Shruthi in this role.
Analysis:
It is a really a challenging to remake a film and it has been proved once again. We know that remake is very difficult task to bring the all the substance. A few changes are made and it has added extra flavor to the movie that is required to Telugu audiences. The original version is good but you cannot ignore and keep it aside Telugu version as it has enough substance. Even you watched Malayalam version, you would enjoy for sure as Naga Chaitanya’s convincing performance bubbling emotional touch while interacting with girls.
Technicalities:
Camera work is really good and impressive. Music is a major asset for the film to have higher octave emotions among the film buffs while watching the movie. The direction is admirable and a screenplay is top-notch. Production values are rich.
Final Say:
Everybody enjoys this romantic entertainer. Especially youth will not miss for sure.
