Rio Olympics 2016: India’s PV Sindhu in women’s singles final

sindhuIndia’s PV Sindhu defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the semifinals of badminton women’s singles in the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympic games. The 21-year-old shuttler from Hyderabad defeated Okuhara 21-19, 21-10 and will face world number one Carolina Marin of Spain. Sindhu is now guaranteed of a medal irrespective of the result in her next game.
